Rocky Romero Comments On The Possibility Of Hiroshi Tanahashi Coming Out Of Retirement
Rocky Romero comments on the future of Hiroshi Tanahashi.
NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 featured the final match of Hiroshi Tanahashi, as the legend wrapped up his in-ring career with a bout against Kazuchika Okada.
As many fans know, wrestling retirements are almost never permanent. In a new interview with Fightful, Rocky Romero was asked about Tanahashi possibly coming out of retirement one day.
“You never know, obviously, because it is wrestling. But I do feel like New Japan wouldn’t let him in the fact because they did just sell 50,000 tickets in the Tokyo Dome for his last match. So I don’t think it would be a great move publicly or business-wise to do it. But you never know. Maybe in five years, you never know because mean, Tana will still be young enough to do a match. So you never know. I feel like after five years, people are totally okay if you come back and you do a match.”
