Rocky Romero Says He’s Re-Signed With NJPW
Rocky Romero is remaining with New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Rocky wears many hats in the world of pro wrestling, from an on-screen talent to working behind the scenes as a liaison between AEW, CMLL and NJPW.
Speaking to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Romero revealed he recently re-signed with NJPW.
“I just re-signed with New Japan. I’m still working at CMLL. I took a little break. Going back and forth was killing me a little bit. I took a little break, but I should be back in the next couple of months,” he said.
Romero will not be in action at NJPW New Beginning USA on Friday in New Jersey, but did help arrange the lineup.
On AEW TV, Rocky Romero is part of the Don Callis Family.
