Roderick Strong Stays Neck Strong At AEW Together Community Event, Is A True Hooper

Always stay neck strong.

Roderick Strong took part in an AEW Together Community event on November 16 where various AEW talent played basketball in Inglewood, CA at Inglewood High School.

Report: Chris Legentil Promoted To WWE EVP, Talent Relations and Head of Communications

As part of No Neck November and being neck strong, Strong participated in the event despite being in a wheelchair. As a true hooper does.

Seeing as the event took place at a high school, naturally, Prince Nana was also there.

Fightful was given the following report on the event courtesy of @DrHilariousPhD

Paul Wight was in good spirits during the pre show. His TV daughter Julia from the Big Big show was there with him.

Flair showed up, got mild responses, half the crowd felt a bit off on him it felt. He left after about 15 minutes via the back, no clue why, and they named a whole team after him. It was team Mark Henry vs Team Flair.

The infantry were doing the competitions as a team, like dunking on their shoulders, 2 people shooting 3s, ect.

Willow, Red Velvet, and Taya Valkarie were cheerleaders for the event for each team.

Roddy was in the gimmick from the time he entered and in all competitions, it was hilarious and I also wore a neckbrace so, it was over.

A "blue shirt guy" chant for a man named Armen erupted as this man hit 3s over and over and over, he backed up and banged a half court shot and it was the pop of the night. Armen also won the 3 point competition. Top people were Daniel Garcia, Matt Taven, Ethan Page, and Armen.

The winning team wasn't really announced as the event kinda broke down after flair just wasn't there anymore.

Overall it was great and the wonderful community turned out.

Side note: Satnam Sighn eliminated me from the knockout game and eventually won. Let me tell you....its not fun going for a layup at the same time as that man! He's HUGE!
