ROH COO Joe Koff Says It's Challenging To Work With Other Companies Without Live Events

Over the past few months, "the forbidden door" in wrestling has been open with AEW, NJPW, and IMPACT Wrestling all working together.

One promotion that has been left out of the mix has been Ring of Honor, though they have a working relationship with NJPW.

Appearing on the ROH Strong podcast, ROH COO Joe Koff explained the challenges of working with another company during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We've always been that promotion (to work with others). We've had relationships with -- we're not touring and there are still travel restrictions for a lot of places. We had to put that on hiatus. I'm never against working (with others). We've worked with NWA, New Japan, CMLL. We've had good working relationships with people. It has to make sense, but without live shows, it's more challenging. I would never rule it out. Ring of Honor has always been open to sharing if it made sense for the company. Those things came to a screeching halt and we have to deal with that. We have to get through it. The work out international stars have done through social media and other means has been terrific," said Koff.

Koff specifically pointed out Joe Hendry for his work in breaking down matches and moves on ROH's YouTube channel.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Koff discussed ROH viewership numbers. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
