ROH World Title Bout, Nigel McGuinness Match Added To ROH Supercard Of Honor
Bandido will defend the ROH World Title against Blake Christian at ROH Supercard of Honor on May 15.
Christian has been attacking Bandido for months, but has never gotten a one-on-one match for the title that Bandido has held for over a year.
Plus, Nigel McGuinness will compete once again, taking on Josh Woods in a pure rules match at Supercard of Honor.
Woods issued an open challenge for the event, and McGuinness was happy to accept.
This will be Nigel’s first match since December 2025 when he faced Wheeler Yuta at ROH Global Wars. He is a former ROH Pure Champion, holding the title for 350 days. Woods is also a former Pure Champion, and he’s won three straight Pure Rules matches since failing to regain the title from Lee Moriarty in January.
This will be the first meeting between Nigel and Woods.
