ACH has received his release from Ring of Honor. The two sides have had a rough relationship since last month, when ACH cut an anti-ROH promo in Chicago at an AAW show. To complicate the situation, ROH actually paid for his trip to the show, as he was in town to perform on an ROH PPV the night after. ACH had gained heat in the locker room over the promo. ACH hasn't performed for ROH since those tapings. ACH spoke about a possible WWE run to Total Wrestling Magazine earlier this year, saying he was interested. He also mentioned a tryout in 2014 that didn't work out for him. "Just not the right time, and I'm totally OK with that. If you ask me personally, the more time that I spend in Ring Of Honor, the more time I have to raise my stock. Timing is everything in wrestling, and I never look at anything as a failed opportunity. I believe that losing and failure is a state of mind, and if you tell yourself you lose or that you failed, then of course you’re gonna feel like a loser or a failure. It was actually a blessing in disguise because, without that, I wouldn’t have had some of the matches that I’ve had since then," he said.
