Roman Reigns Boasts About Being The Head Of The Table For Over 700 Days, Isn't Finished

The Head of the Table isn't finished.

Roman Reigns has officially surpassed 700 days as the reigning WWE Universal Champion. At WrestleMania 38, he defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship, and he has held both world titles ever since.

On August 2, two days after he defeated Lesnar in a brutal Last Man Standing match at WWE SummerSlam to retain the gold, Reigns took to Twitter to recognize his lengthy reign. He stated that fans have sat at his table and enjoyed his work for over 700 days, and it's not over. Reigns made it clear that he's not done yet.

Reigns defeated "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at WWE Payback 2020 to win the Universal Championship. He has defended it against stars like Edge, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and Goldberg, among others.

"The Tribal Chief" signed a new contract earlier this year, and he has subsequently worked a lighter schedule. Fightful Select previously reported that, even as Reigns potentially considers other ventures, WWE will likely aim to incentivize him to keep WWE his top priority.
