Roman Reigns Calls Adam Pearce A Puss Live On WWE Smackdown On FOX

There's some name-calling happening on SmackDown.

The January 22 episode was kicked off with Roman Reigns commenting on the events of last Friday when Kevin Owens was named as Adam Pearce's replacement in their Last Man Standing Match at the Royal Rumble. Owens was supposed to address the Universal Champion, but Reigns informed the audience that he calls the shots and that KO would be doing no such thing.

The Tribal Chief called Pearce a "puss" for using the "card subject to change" loophole. He said that he doesn't miss dates and that concern for his health during a pandemic was the only thing that kept him out of the ring.

Paul Heyman would step in, taking offence with Pearce backing out of their agreement. He asked the WWE Official if he looked impotent, before reminding him that he comes from the streets of New York. He would proceed to challenge Pearce to a match on SmackDown, which was accepted with a handshake.
