The final WWE SmackDown before Clash at the Castle is loaded.

WWE announced that SmackDown on Friday, September 2, 2022, airing less than 24 hours before Clash at the Castle, will feature several debuts, a Viking Rules Match, and Roman Reigns celebrating his 2 year anniversary as WWE Universal Champion.

The Viking Match will feature another match between the new and vicious Viking Raiders against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day.
