Roman Reigns To Cody Rhodes And Sami Zayn: If You Have To Hold A Pep Rally, You Don't Have A Chance

Roman Reigns dismisses Cody Rhodes' endorsement of Sami Zayn.

Both Rhodes and Zayn have their sights set on Reigns, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Rhodes returned from a torn pectoral muscle at WWE Royal Rumble and won the men's battle royal to punch his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 39, where he will challenge for the gold. Meanwhile, Zayn turned on The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman) at the end of WWE Royal Rumble as he refused to join in on the beatdown of his friend, Kevin Owens. Zayn then challenged Reigns to a match at WWE Elimination Chamber, and "The Tribal Chief" agreed to to give him a shot.

On the February 14 episode of WWE Raw, Zayn called Rhodes out and wondered if he meant it when he said he believes he could face Zayn at WrestleMania 39. Rhodes responded by telling Zayn that he believes in him, but he wondered whether Sami had the same belief in himself. Zayn stated that he was confident he could potentially defeat Reigns, but he was also doubtful because The Bloodline always found a way, and Reigns has been on another level. Rhodes then told Sami to finish his story, and he'd like to see him at WrestleMania.

The next day, Reigns briefly commented on the segment in a TikTok; he stated that neither Rhodes nor Zayn stood a chance.

"If you gotta gold a pep rally to convince each other that you can beat me, you don't stand a chance. See you at Elimination Chamber," Reigns said.
