Roman Reigns Comments On Fans Being At WrestleMania 37, His Current Health

As the reigning WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns is in line to play a major role at WrestleMania 37.

After having to be moved to the Performance Center for WrestleMania 36 due to the pandemic, Raymond James Stadium will host WrestleMania 37. In the press release for the event, it was stated ticket information would be available soon.

Appearing on Big Boy's Neighborhood, Reigns commented on fans potentially being allowed in the stadium for the event.

"We're going to be diving into that in the next few weeks, to get that information out. From my understanding, we're looking at limited attendance, but it's all based off safety. Number one is the safety of our audience. If there is a situation where we can do like the NFL to create an experience where everybody is safe and we follow the protocols and have limited attendance, then it's a special scenario. We're going to be in the stadium and we're looking into how big our crowd will be in the weeks to come," said Reigns.

Reigns missed WrestleMania 36 as he stepped away from wrestling to be with his family during the pandemic. WrestleMania 35 marked the first WrestleMania in five years that Reigns had not headlined. He had missed October 2018 to February 2019 following his leukemia returning.

When asked how he is doing healthwise today, Reigns replied, "This morning, I had a doctor's appointment and got my labs done. Everything is going good. It was scary times a couple years ago, especially when it feels like everything is going good and to be knocked off the perch that you got to, it was very surreal. [I learned] to take advantage of every single day. I've always said, 'If God wakes me up, I feel I can take care of the rest.' I firmly believe that and it goes with everything I do. I try not to be lazy. I try to not dread anything, from the little things to big things. As long as I live every day to the fullest, no matter what happens, I've done my job."

Reigns returned from his pandemic hiatus at SummerSlam 2020 and captured the Universal Championship a week later at Payback in a triple threat match against 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman.

Reigns is set to defend the Universal Title against Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match at Sunday's Royal Rumble. You can view the current lineup for the event by clicking here.
