Roman Reigns "Fined" $5,000 After Shoving WWE Official

One night after Roman Reigns attacked Samoa Joe on Raw, he finds himself giving back to the WWE in the form of $5,000.

WWE "fined" Reigns five thousand dollars within storyline after shoving an official down on Raw. Emotions were running high for the Intercontinental Champion as he was disqualified during his match with Joe. WWE.com issued the following statement:

Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns has been fined $5,000 for shoving referee John Cone during his title defense against Samoa Joe on Raw last night, WWE.com can confirm.

The incident occurred after Reigns backed Joe into the corner of the ring and continued to attack him past the official’s count. When Cone attempted to intercede, Reigns shoved him aside to continue his attack. The champion was subsequently disqualified, though he kept his title as a result of champion’s advantage

Reigns would comment on the fine via Twitter, saying that he has no remorse:
