Roman Reigns Guaranteed To Make History On Multiple Fronts At WWE WrestleMania XL

Acknowledge Roman Reigns as "The Tribal Chief" makes history during WWE WrestleMania XL.

Roman Reigns has been the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for over 1,300 days. Roman recently cracked the two-year mark of defeating Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 38 to capture the WWE Championship and become the dominant man in all of WWE.

Now, as WrestleMania XL approaches, Roman Reigns finds himself in a unique position. Roman will be wrestling in back-to-back main events of WrestleMania as he becomes the first incumbent WWE Champion to headline both nights of WrestleMania since the two-night format started in 2020.

Roman Reigns will also become the first WWE Champion since Hulk Hogan in 1985 at the very first WrestleMania to headline a WrestleMania event in a non-title tag team match. On WWE WrestleMania XL Saturday, Reigns will team with The Rock to go against the team of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Roman Reigns will also surpass Hulk Hogan as he becomes the first champion in history to enter his fourth straight WrestleMania in this singular Universal Championship run.

He will also become the first WWE Champion to defend a title at four straight WrestleManias.

Speaking of Hulk Hogan, due to Roman Reigns headlining two nights of WWE WrestleMania this year, he will officially surpass Hulk Hogan's record of eight WWE WrestleMania events.

Hulk Hogan was officially in the main event of eight of the first nine WrestleMania events. Hulk Hogan's last headlining match came when he defeated Yokozuna in a surprise challenge at WWE WrestleMania IX after Yokozuna had just defeated Bret Hart for the WWE Championship.

By the end of WrestleMania Sunday, Reigns will have competed in nine WrestleMania main events. He currently stands at an overall WrestleMania record of 8-2 at the Showcase of the Immortals with five of those victories coming in the main event of the show.

Regardless of whether or not Roman Reigns makes it to the April 8 episode of Monday Night Raw as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, he is undeniably one of the most legendary performers of all time and WrestleMania XL only further cements his legacy.

Acknowledge him.
