Roman Reigns shocked the world when he returned and revealed his alliance with Paul Heyman in August.
The partnership between Heyman and Reigns has had a different dynamic than Heyman's past relationships as Heyman is more subdued as he takes orders from Reigns, rather than being his usual boisterous and brash self that fans are used to hearing alongside Brock Lesnar.
Answering questions during a Mania Club meet-and-greet, Reigns discussed his partnership with Heyman behind the scenes and in front of the camera.
"On camera, we're still developing it and fleshing it out. As the weeks go on, you'll organically see us become what we're supposed to be. It's still new and we're filling it out and letting our instincts takeover. From a backstage (perspective), it's awesome. To be able to have his history and pedigree, he's a self-made entertainer. To be able to go through his experiences and tap into that, it's awesome. If you meet him and get to talk to him, he's a very infectious type of personality. He has perfect timing. He knows what to say and when to say it. If there needs to be a reassurance, he has the perfect line to give you that shot of confidence. He's a good coach and a good mentor. Maybe I drank the kool-aid. He really reassures you and makes you believe in yourself before you go out there. I have my own experience from over the years, but it's nice to hear it from someone else. The creative process is really convenient as well. There's no lack of communication or problems brainstorming. I think that's been apparent from the way we've tackled creative from the beginning to where we are now," said Reigns.
Alongside Heyman, Reigns was able to secure the WWE Universal Championship at Payback and is now set to defend the title against Jey Uso at Clash of Champions.
Elsewhere during the Q&A session, Roman revealed he will switch up his gear at Clash of Champions. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
