Roman Reigns On Reported WWE Sale: I'm Sure They're All Very Lucky To Have Me

On Sunday, it was reported by CNBC that WWE was in advanced talks to sell the company to Endeavor, which is the parent company of the UFC. The sale would reportedly create a new publicly traded company between the two promotions.

The sale has not been officially announced by Endeavor or WWE.

When asked by Nick Hausman at the WrestleMania 39 press conference about the potential sale, Roman Reigns looked around and said, "I was busy smashing your favorite. I don't really know too much about that. Today was a busy day for me. Whatever happened, I'm sure they're all very lucky to have me, I know that much."

Paul Heyman chimed in, "He has a bad habit of starting problems at press conferences," referencing Hausman asking the first question at the AEW All Out 2022 press conference that led to CM Punk's now infamous rant.

Heyman and Reigns then made improv jokes.

Triple H was also asked about the reported sale and if he wanted to comment on it. He simply said, "Nope."

Reigns remains the face of WWE after winning the WrestleMania 39 main event and retaining the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship over Cody Rhodes.
