Roman Reigns Says It Was A Blessing That He Didn’t Have To ‘Fall Down Once’ For ‘Street Fighter’

Roman Reigns is thankful for stunt doubles.
Reigns portrays Akuma in the upcoming ‘Street Fighter’ movie, which hits theaters on Friday, October 16. While making the media rounds for the film, Reigns spoke to HeyUGuys alongside Eric Andre and David Dastmalchian.
The outlet asked Reigns how combat on set differs from fighting in WWE.
“I didn’t fall down once [laughs]. Every time it was time to fall down, Niko, get up [in there]. I’m going over there with Langston and we’re gonna go up on the perch. You know, being live live in WWE, having to fall down and throw your body all over the ring, I love it when we’re in the moment but it’s grueling. So, to be able to have that as a blessing, beautiful.”
The film will also feature Cody Rhodes as Guile and Hirooki Goto as E. Honda.
Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight at the recent Money In The Bank premium live event. If you missed anything else from that show, catch up by clicking here.
