Roman Reigns is glad Tyson Fury stopped Austin Theory at WWE Clash at the Castle.
Roman Reigns went to war with Drew McIntyre in Cardiff, Wales, and towards the end of the bout, Mr. Money in the Bank, Austin Theory ran down to the ring in hopes of cashing in his guaranteed title opportunity right then and there. Unfortunately for Theory, Tyson Fury was front row and swiftly knocked Theory out to ensure he'd have no influence on the rest of the bout.
Speaking with Radio Rahim during a press conference in Las Vegas, Roman credited Tyson Fury with doing a solid by eliminating Theory, despite Roman feeling Fury was a little overzealous in his behavior.
"Well, he did a solid," said Roman. "I think he was lost in the match along with everybody else that was in that stadium. He saw a guy like Austin Theory running down there, trying to interrupt this great battle that was taking place in front of them, and he pulled the trigger and stopped it himself. So I think that was just him being a huge fan in the moment and not wanting that moment to be ruined by some dummy like Theory. He just stepped in, intervened, and he allowed it to play out like a champion would want it to be seen. Then, the true champion won the match and everything is how it needs to b,e the world is perfect."
Following the event, Tyson Fury took part in a press conference and discussed a potential permanent future for him as a WWE Superstar. Learn more here.
