Roman Reigns breaks yet another record as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Roman Reigns has now held the Universal Championship for 1,028 days, marking another milestone in his reign. In terms of his stance in the pantheon of WWE World Champions, this puts him ahead of Pedro Morales' 1,027-day reign as WWE Champion.
Reigns currently has the fourth-longest World Championship reign in WWE history, after only Hulk Hogan's reign from 1984-1988, lasting 1,474 days, Bob Backlund's first reign, and Bruno Sammartino's two reigns, the longest of which ran for 2,803 days.
In addition to being the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has been the WWE Champion for over 400 days. He unified those championships back at WrestleMania 38 and currently holds one brand new Undisputed Championship belt to signify his status.
