Ronda Rousey arrives in AEW.
There was a singles match on the main card of AEW Revolution between Marina Shafir and ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm. The conclusion of the bout saw Storm defeat Shafir with a small package.
Post-match, Storm was celebrating her win on the entrance stage and UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE talent Ronda Rousey entered the ring. She then called out Storm to come back to the ring and Storm happily did so.
Rousey and Storm went face-to-face, but security and referees split them apart. Shafir snuck up on Storm during the separation and attacked her. While Rousey and Shafir were exiting camera’s view, the Death Riders’ Jon Moxley was entering for his Continental Championship defense against Konosuke Takeshita. Rousey and Shafir hyped Moxley up.
Rousey is scheduled to make her MMA return on May 16th against Gina Carano at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Revolution took place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Shafir will be in attendance for Rousey’s MMA return.
It was in 2023 that after Rousey left WWE, she did three tag team matches with Shafir. One of those bouts were in Ring of Honor.
