Ronda Rousey loves Matt Riddle.
In a new Q&A posted on her YouTube page, Ronda Rousey was asked for her thoughts on NXT star Matt Riddle. The current Raw Women's Champion could not contain her excitement when discussing her fellow UFC-turned-WWE peer.
"I'm so excited for Matt Riddle to come over," she said. "Not just because I'm a fan of him as a wrestler, but I was having a really hard time and I was really sad when I came to PWG -- PWG was one of these things that I would actually leave the house for when I was feeling depressed -- and I tried to sneak in to the back one day to watch the show. Matt Riddle totally called me out in the crowd and made me smile that day. He was really respectful and didn't have to. I was already a big fan because of MMA and he wrestled in bare feet and his crazy hair and his whole attitude. But now I'm just like, Matt Riddle for life! I'm so excited for him."
Rousey expanded on Riddle being able to wrestle in his bare feet, sounding a little disappointed that she was forced into wearing shoes.
"I get the barefoot thing. They like berated me into wearing shoes. I understand that there's a lot of safety issues," she said. "I hope you don't hurt your heel on anything, but it's really fucking cool. I love it. He looks like Bam Bam out there."
