Ronda Rousey Finds It ‘Ridiculous’ That WWE Had Her Fighting Alexa Bliss, Says It Only Happened Because Of Bliss’ High Merch Sales

A new episode of The Lapsed Fan was rolled out, and the featured guest on the show was Ronda Rousey. Her collective run at WWE was delved into, and there were several conversations about how Rousey should have been presented.

It was suggested that Rousey should have been a killer and running through people in quick matches. Her program with Alexa Bliss was brought up, and Rousey said she finds it ridiculous that WWE had her fighting Bliss. She added that it only happened because of Bliss’ high merchandise sales.

“The fact that they had me fighting Alexa Bliss at all was f*cking ridiculous, and you wanna know why they had me against Alexa Bliss? Because she had the most merch sales at the time… Like, what the f*ck!? That’s your decision-making process?”

Bliss and Rousey competed for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2018 and at the Hell in a Cell event the following month. Rousey won both bouts.
