Ronda Rousey To Join Season 3 Of Fox Drama Series '9-1-1'

Ronda Rousey gets a new gig.

Deadline reports that Ronda Rousey will have a recurring role in season three of the Fox drama series 9-1-1. Rousey will play Lena Bosko, a stoic and fearless member of the Los Angeles Fire Department Station 136 who leaps into action to save lives when a disaster hits. The third season is built around a tsunami that engulfs Santa Monica.

Season three of the series premieres Monday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET.

The former Raw Women's Champion hasn't been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 when she lost to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match that also featured Charlotte Flair.

WWE SmackDown is set to move to Fox on Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m. ET.

Rousey's acting credits include films Mile 22, Furious 7 and The Expendables 3 along with television series Drunk History and Blindspot. She also played herself in the Entourage movie. More recently, Rousey put together and starred in a trailer for TABLES, a fake horror film that features Rousey's husband and UFC fighter Travis Browne and WWE superstars Paige and D-Von Dudley.
