Ronda Rousey reflects on her appearance at Revolution.
Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, played host to All Elite Wrestling’s 2026 Revolution pay-per-view.
One of the matches on the bill was a singles bout between ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm and Marina Shafir. After Storm defeated Shafir, UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE talent Ronda Rousey showed up and went face-to-face with Storm. As Rousey and Storm were being kept separate via security, Shafir snuck a punch on Storm.
While speaking to reporters (via DAZN) ahead of her MMA return in May, Rousey spoke about her AEW appearance and said she got to flick off the fans instead of being PG-WWE.
“(Marina Shafir) goes out and kills it against Toni Storm and then I get to walk out and instead of being PG-rated WWE, I get to go and flick off all the fans booing me — it’s incredible, an incredible feeling.”
When asked to elaborate on how things came together, Rousey said she has a fight coming up and just happened to be in town for the show.
“It just happened to work out that it was her first pay-per-view ever,” Rousey said about Marina Shafir and added, “And I happened to be in town and happen to have a fight coming up.”
Rousey’s MMA return will be against Gina Carano on May 16th at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. It is happening under Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions banner.
AEW President Tony Khan spoke about Rousey’s appearance at Revolution, and his comments can be read here.
