Ronda Rousey: Part Of Me Wishes I Wrestled In The Triple H Era, He Believed In Me

Ronda Rousey comments on the Triple H era.

Ronda Rousey made her WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, teaming with Kurt Angle to face Triple H & Stephanie McMahon. Rousey had an impactful rookie year in WWE, winning championships, headlining WWE Evolution, and competing in the first-ever women's WrestleMania main event.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Rousey reflected on her WrestleMania 34 debut.

"It was an incredible introduction. Part of me wishes the time that I wrestled would have been in the Triple H era and not the Vince (McMahon) era because he was the one that believed in me from the very beginning. I've been hearing incredible things about how he's running stuff now. It was such an experience," she said.

Rousey noted that she was only supposed to be around until Survivor Series 2018, but stayed until WrestleMania 35 because she was having such a great experience.

Rousey returned for her second run in 2022, competing for over a year before finishing up at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
