Ronda Rousey Praises Sasha Banks, Unsure If She's Ready To Face Someone At That Level

Ronda Rousey has high praise for Sasha Banks

After being named No. 1 in PWI's Top 100 Women, Rousey joined The PWI Podcast to discuss her ranking and a variety of other topics. During the conversation, Rousey was asked who she would like to face at some point in the ring. One name immediately jumped to the mind of the Raw Women's Champion.

"I would really love to wrestle Sasha Banks. I've been so impressed watching her work and being able to see her from the back and see her work. I was already a fan of her from before," said Rousey. "I think we'd be able to make something great together. She's given a lot of women their best matches ever. I almost feel like I'm not at the right level yet for her. I really think that we could make something really special and great, but I don't know if I'm at the level that's ready for that yet and I don't know if the company would ever like that. In a perfect world, I would love that."

Banks and Rousey have had limited interactions on WWE television. The only time they've really shared the screen together has been during celebratory moments, most notably on the Raw after WWE SummerSlam and the closing shot of WWE Evolution.

Rousey has spoken highly of Banks in the past, crediting her as one of the women who has helped her with the transition from UFC to WWE. Banks, like most of the WWE roster, has praised Rousey for how willing she is to learn and how quickly she's improved.
