"Rowdy" Ronda with a Q&A.
The current RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey main-evented WWE's first-ever all-women's pay-per-view 'Evolution' last month and walked out of her match victorious as she made Nikki Bella tap out to an armbar. The match prior to Ronda's was the second-ever Last Woman Standing match in WWE history between SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
The match between Becky and Charlotte is highly regarded amongst fans and some feel as though the match should've closed the show. This forthcoming Sunday at Survivor Series the Women's Champions of RAW and SmackDown will clash in a champion versus champion match and since that match announcement was made, both Ronda and Becky have been taking jabs at one another on WWE TV and on social media. Before that Survivor Series bout was made official, Ronda Rousey did a post-'Evolution' Q&A session over her YouTube channel and Ronda stated that her favorite match on the 'Evolution' card was the match of the woman who she'll be standing across the ring from at Survivor Series.
“My favorite match that night - I would say definitely say my favorite match that night was Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair - the first-ever Last Woman Standing match I mean it was the first-ever on the first-ever; the first-ever Last Woman Standing match on the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view I mean.... It was just amazing. It was amazing to see those two women go out there and pour out their heart and soul in front of everyone and show everybody that they can do so much more with a closed fists and some tables and chairs and everything that they had then they could ever do when given pillows and lingerie and they’ve done something, they’ve broken a seal that can’t ever be closed again." Ronda expressed. "What they did was… we didn’t just walk through the door, but Becky and Charlotte slammed the door behind us and made sure that we’ll never have to go walk backwards through that last door and we can start focusing on the next one, or maybe the ceiling. I don’t know, we’re taking the whole house down bit by bit and Charlotte and Becky they just, they really ended the last chapter with an exclamation point for all of us and I’m just so excited for what the next chapter has in store for all of us.”
