Rosa Mendes Says The Only Way She Would Compete In A WWE Royal Rumble Match Is For Charity

Rosa Mendes talks about competing in one more match.

Royal Rumble surprises have become a staple of the annual tradition and ever since 2018, that has also meant several comebacks for women competitors with the addition of the Women's Royal Rumble Match.

Over the years, names like The Bella Twins, Summer Rae, Ivory, Kelly Kelly, Trish Stratus, and more have all made their returns for the Royal Rumble. Rosa Mendes is one of the most notable Divas from the late 2000s and early 2010s and while she has been happily retired, she has revealed in an interview with Ring The Belle that she would return for the Royal Rumble Match as long as her paycheck went to charity.

"Okay, so I said that I wasn't going to do it, and then I thought about it, I would do it for charity. I would do it if WWE offered me this like really good amount and gave it to a charity of my choice for a good cause, I would do it for that. I'd give that whole check to them," she said.

Rosa has also claimed that this will be her last wrestling interview. She was a mainstay of WWE during the transition into the Divas era signified by the butterfly championship belt. She was also a part of the Divas Revolution, later termed the Women's Evolution, and was a cast member of Total Divas.

In 2022, Cameron (Ariane Andrew), another former Total Divas cast member returned to compete in the Royal Rumble. She spoke glowingly about the experience and teased a comeback for the sake of revenge. Read more here.
