Rossy Ogawa On STARDOM Exit: The Truth May Be Told Someday, I'm Worried About The Wrestlers Right Now

Rossy Ogawa comments on his sudden departure from STARDOM.

On February 4, Bushiroad and STARDOM announced that they had canceled the contract of founder Rossy Ogawa. The announcement states that Ogawa "poached many STARDOM wrestlers and staff."

Ogawa then took to Twitter/X and commented on the situation. He wrote that he was informed about his contract getting terminated after the previous day's show. Ogawa noted that the truth of the matter may be told someday, but he was worried about the wrestlers right now. He thanked everyone for supporting STARDOM for the past 13 years and said it would now be a company run by Bushiroad.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that many STARDOM wrestlers are loyal to Ogawa. As a result, his exit could lead others to leave the company when several contracts are up on March.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported that Fightful learned of Ogawa's impending departure Wednesday night. There were rumors across NJPW and AEW that Rossy could be WWE-bound, or angling for a job or partnership with WWE. Several sports agents over the last few months had found it interesting that Giulia didn't seem interested in having a rep.

Fightful will monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
