Roxanne Perez: I Told AJ Lee I Don’t Want To Be 80 Years Old When We Wrestle
Roxanne Perez has made it clear to AJ Lee: She doesn’t want to wait too long to have her dream match against the former WWE Divas Champion.
Roxanne Perez has never hidden her admiration for AJ Lee. Lee has even recognized Perez as one of her “wrestling daughters.” Although Lee hasn’t wrestled since the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 31 in 2015, many still hope she will come out of retirement. Roxanne wants to be the one to face her if AJ has just one more match.
Perez spoke to Justin Dhillon on Conversations with The Wrestling Classic and says that she has told Lee that she doesn’t want to have to wait until she’s 80 years old to have her dream match.
“I definitely told her that I don’t want to be 80 years old, so she’s gonna come on, make it quicker, okay. But, yeah, she’s awesome, and she’s given me so much advice on being in the WWE and being in the locker room and staying true to myself. So she’s awesome. She’s my wrestling mom.”
