In the first-ever Iron Survivor Challenge, Roxanne Perez defeated Kiana James, Cora Jade, Indi Hartwell, and Zoey Stark at NXT Deadline 2022 to earn the next opportunity at Mandy Rose and the WWE NXT Women's Championship.
In the end, Roxanne Perez scored two falls when the time limit expired at the end of 25 minutes. Jade, Hartwell, and Zoey each had one fall. Kiana James was the only person in the match to go the entire duration without scoring a single victory.

On commentary, Booker T, Roxanne Perez's trainer became very emotional at the success of his pupil. In the past, Perez has been Ring of Honor Women's Champion and Maria Kanellis even stated that she believed Roxanne could take on any Women's Champion in the wrestling world. Read more here.
