Royce Keys has named several WWE women’s superstars that he would like to team with should the concept ever return to WWE.

For those unaware, the Mixed Match challenge was a tournament of matches that took place twice in 2018 where men’s and women’s WWE stars would be selected to team together in a tournament format. This would lead to several clashing personalities on the teams, with fans enjoying the less serious environment surrounding the bouts.

While speaking to WittyWhittier in a new interview, Royce Keys was asked who he would select as his partner if the concept returned, pointing to three potential teammates.

“Man. I’m thinking…. I’ve kinda got a three-way tie I’m thinking Rhea, (Ripley) Michin, and I’m thinking Liv (Morgan).”

Keys would also be asked if R-Truth could break him in a segment if he was making an attempt to, with Keys noting that Truth almost did make him break in a recent segment.

“Yeah, he almost did. Calling me Debo, you know, and tucking in your chain. So, yeah, he almost did it. I didn’t expect it.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Keys stated his belief that his WWE run so far has ‘exceeded his expectations.’ You can read more about that here.
