Ruby Riott Comments On First Singles Win Since 2019

Ruby Riott returned to WWE television in February 2020 after being sidelined for the majority of 2019 due tp double shoulder surgery.

Though she has been active since returning, Riott hasn't found much success in the ring, failing to pick up a singles victory since returning. That changed on Monday when she was able to defeat Peyton Royce. Taking to social media, Riott commented on her streak snapping win.

Kyle O'Reilly Says Bryan Danielson Hit Him The Hardest He's Ever Been Hit

Monday night was a special night. My match against Peyton Royce might not have been for a title, or even an opportunity at one. But, it was my first singles win since November of 2019. When I came back from my shoulder surgeries, I thought things would be exactly how I left them, but they weren't. Things changed....people changed and I didn't know how to handle it, but the fire that was lit after Peyton disrespected Liv Morgan, was one that I've felt for months. Even if it was only for a few minutes. Liv, if you watched on Monday, I hope you were proud. Peyton, from now on, keep her name outta your mouth.

Though Riott mentioned it being her first singles victory since November 2019, she wasn't active in November 2019. Her last singles victory prior to Monday on record was February 2019 when she defeated Nikki Cross.
