Ruby Soho Wants To Wrestle As Much As Humanly Possible In AEW

Before joining AEW, Ruby Soho had not wrestled since May 2021.

Soho, wrestling under the name Ruby Riott in WWE, wrestled just two singles matches in WWE in 2021. She was mainly paired with Liv Morgan as part of the Riott Squad, though her ring time was limited on WWE television.

Speaking to Chris Jericho on Talk Is Jericho, Ruby expressed excitement over getting more ring time in AEW.

"First and foremost, I want to wrestle as much as humanly possible," she said when asked what her future holds. "I really want to be in the ring as much as I can just because I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do. Not necessarily because I haven't been in the ring, but feeling and falling back in love. I feel like when I'm in the ring, it's another date. I want to wrestle as much as possible. These girls are absolutely incredible and want to wrestle as much as I do and want to tell stories, which is all that I want to do. Each one of these girls is going to bring out a different side and a different fight to me. I'm really excited about that. I just want to have fun. I want to come to work and have fun. I want to enjoy myself and root for other people. I want to come out and sing and air guitar with all the fans to my incredible entrance music. I know I feel like I'm home, but I want to have a good time. If I can, I want to help take the women's division to the next level."

Soho has already wrestled three times in AEW in September and is set to challenge Britt Baker for the AEW Women's Championship on AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
