Rumor: Substance Roman Reigns Failed For Possibly Revealed

The substance in which Reigns failed his WWE wellness test for may not be as sensational as some had expected

As Fightful.com had mentioned on a previous epsiode of the Fightful Podcast, the substance in question is rumored among backstage talents as Adderall. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer reported the same rumors in the most recent edition of the newsletter.

Adderall replaced ritalin in the last decade as the primary medication prescribed for attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), along with Strattera. It's sometimes used as a party drug, and often abused by those pulling 'all-nighters.' Adderall is also used as a mild performance enhancer as it increases focus.

WWE does not publicly reveal what their talents test positive for. Former WWE talent Adam Rose also failed a wellness test earlier this year for Adderall, and posted evidence that he'd gained a prescription for the substance. Adderall is considered a stimulant, and also can be used to treat narcolepsy.
