Rumors on Possible WrestleMania Program For John Cena

It looks like plans for John Cena at this year's WrestleMania are finally taking shape, and the Undertaker is nowhere to be found in them. Neither is AJ Styles, or even Baron Corbin.

Instead, we got two words for ya: Mixed Tag.

Tony Khan Will Have To Eventually Consider Succession Plans For AEW But Is Having More Fun Than Ever

Yes, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, creative plans for John Cena's program at WrestleMania involve him teaming with his longtime girlfriend to go up against the on-screen power-couple of SmackDown Live, The Miz and Maryse.

There has been speculation that Cena will lose his WWE Title to Bray Wyatt at Elimination Chamber, leading to a Wyatt-Orton program for the belt there. Cena would need a new feud heading into Mania, and has been rumored to be working with everyone from The Undertaker to Samoa Joe to Dolph Ziggler.

However, the Observer cites a rumor that WrestleMania might be Nikki Bella's final contest, and Cena could be pushing for this program so that he can be involved in his lady's last match. There are even rumors that Cena might actually propose to Nikki after the match, giving this Mania a feel-good story to rival even the Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth.

As with everything in the world of the WWE, we shall see.
