Rusev Day, Sanity, And The Usos Meet In A Triple Threat Match As Part Of The SmackDown Tag Team Tournament Next Week

The second semifinal tag team triple threat bout is set for next week on SmackDown.

SmackDown General Manager Paige announced that Rusev Day, SAnitY, and The Usos will compete in a triple threat bout next week. The winners will move on to face The Bar in the finals of tournament. The Bar defeated The Club and the Colons on Tuesday to advance to the finals.

The winner of that bout will be named the No. 1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

After weeks of miscues, Rusev Day finally got on the same page last week when Aiden English aided Rusev and Lana in mixed tag team competition. To further show his loyalty to Rusev, Aiden was the one who lobbied Paige to be included in the triple threat bout.

The history between SAnitY and The Usos goes back to June, when Eric Young, Killan Dain, and Alexander Wolfe made their main roster debut by attacking the twin brothers.
