A United States Title rematch is set for the WWE Royal Rumble as Rusev will defend against former champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
The bout was announced on Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live. Rusev defeated Nakamura on the Dec. 25 episode of SmackDown to win the United States Title. The following week on SmackDown, Nakamura ruined a Rusev Day celebration, injuring Rusev's wife Lana during the attack. You can view the segment in the video above.
