Rusev: Oba Femi Reminds Me Of A Young Rusev
Rusev speaks about Oba Femi.
As WWE WrestleMania 42 inches closer, talents and executives are making the media rounds to promote the show.
Rusev, who is going to be a part of the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match, appeared as a guest on TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast. He was asked for his thoughts about Oba Femi, as Femi is set to clash with Brock Lesnar on night two of WrestleMania, and Rusev said the following:
“Every time I see him, he kind of reminds me of me, right? Because when I came in — Oba (Femi). I’m talking about Oba — I came in, I was young. I was 28 years old. I was big, I was strong, I was dominating everybody. For over a year, I was undefeated…”
Femi versus Lesnar will open WrestleMania Sunday.
As for Rusev, he’ll be in the Ladder match on night two with Je’Von Evans, Rey Mysterio, J.D. McDonagh, Dragon Lee, and the champion Penta.
