PLEASE RUSEV, DON'T HURT 'EM
So Rusev is a huge sports fan. And being that he's not on SmackDown right now, he's got a lot of time on his hands to fill. And he fills it by watching sports and ETHERING NBA STARS ON TWITTER.
A bit of context.
Rusev is the most famous backer of the NHL's Nashville Predators, who are currently in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Another favorite team of Rusev's is the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers famously can't seem to get out of the second round of the NBA Playoffs. This year, thanks to an injury to Blake Griffin, they couldn't make it out of the first round. That's fine, though, because if they did, they would have been massacred by the Golden State Warriors, a juggernaut of a team the likes of which we've rarely seen.
One of the top stars of Golden State is Kevin Durant, who last offseason left the only team he's ever played for to join the already-great Warriors and hitch his wagon to a championship team so he could finally get a ring.
Is that enough context for you?
I hope so, because we're about to get to the ETHERING.
