RUSH: I Am Happy In AEW, I Have Given My Maximum Effort In My Opportunities

RUSH comments on his time in AEW.

RUSH first appeared on AEW programming at AEW Double or Nothing, aligning with his old friend Andrade El Idolo. He remained part of AEW programming, but didn't officially sign with the company until September 30.

RUSH has been regularly featured on AEW TV and involved in a storyline with Preston Vance and Dark Order.

Speaking to Lucha Libre Online (translation via Luis Pulido), RUSH asked about his AEW run thus far.

"Honestly, I am fascinated, in awe, and happy in AEW. There had not been that many opportunities, but I have given it my maximum efforts in those chances. I’ve been there for 6 months and I’ve done a lot with LFI. La Facción Ingobernable has arrived to ass-whoop and make a full group of cabrones. Everyone knows RUSH goes wherever there is the best offer & where they will treat me like a real Ingobernable. I won’t brag, as I am still learning & preparing myself. I know the United States is an entirely different world and that you cannot just be a wrestler. You need to get the microphone & know how to speak English, and that’s what I am doing. The White Bull RUSH is quality everywhere he goes & the entire AEW audience knew when RUSH stepped in. They are still being surprised because the work put in talks for itself," he said.

RUSH was recently suspended for a week by AEW for his actions at ROH Final Battle when he attacked Blake Christian & AR Fox after they were victorious over RUSH & Dralistico.

Preston Vance sat down with Jim Ross on Friday's AEW Rampage to explain why he turned his back on Dark Order and aligned with RUSH. If you missed anything from AEW Rampage, check out Fightful's report on the show by clicking here.
