RUSH Underwent Knee Surgery After ROH 'Suspension'

On May 7, Ring of Honor announced that La Faccion Ingobernable (RUSH, Dragon Lee, Kenny King and Bestia del Ring) were suspended without pay for the month of May due to "an accumulation of lawless actions."

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, RUSH revealed the reason behind the "suspension."

WWE Has More Corporate Layoffs

"After my suspension [a storyline where I and LFI were suspended for the month of May], I had surgery on my knee. I am now healthy and stronger than before. I’m back with a more powerful mentality, more violence, and I’m ready to cause even more destruction. My desire is to continue to be the best in the world," he said.

RUSH has not wrestled since the April 23 episode of ROH Television when he teamed with Kenny King & La Bestia Del Ring against Violence Unlimited (Brody King, Chris Dickinson & Homicide).

He is set to defend the ROH World Title against Bandido at Best in the World on Sunday. You can view the current lineup for the show by clicking here.

Fightful will have live coverage of ROH Best in the World beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
