RVD Indicates That His WrestleMania 40 Experience Might Have Been Canceled Due To AEW Appearance

Rob Van Dam says he has reason to believe his upcoming WrestleMania 40 experience was canceled.

When Priority Pass Packages when on sale for WrestleMania 40, many fans were quick to point out that a 'ECW Experience with Rob Van Dam' was included in the champion package. Many fans expected WWE to feature Van Dam and other ECW legends in some way throughout the weekend, given that the event is in Philadelphia, the former home of ECW.

Van Dam recently made his in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling, which many consider to be the biggest competitor to WWE in the world of professional wrestling.

On the latest edition of his 1 Of A Kind podcast, Van Dam said that he has good reason to believe the upcoming appearance with WWE might have canned after his appearance with All Elite Wrestling.

“Maybe I'd show you if I was doing a WWE tour WrestleMania weekend, but I have good reason to believe that might be canceled because of a recent appearance I might have done, with permission, for a different company. Right now, I don’t feel like I can talk too much about that.”
