Ryan Clancy: Anytime I See My Name Next To Ray Jaz On A Match Card, I Know I’m Going To Wake Up The Next Day Feeling Horrible
Ryan Clancy says Ray Jaz hit him hardest in the ring.
Both Ryan Clancy and Ray Jaz have worked numerous matches with each other on the indies. The last bout they had was in February at Wrestling Open.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Clancy was asked about the hardest-hitting opponent he worked with in the ring.
“The first one that came to mind is Ray Jaz. He was a former NCAA All-American wrestler. Anytime that I see my name next to Ray Jaz on a match card, I know I’m going to wake up the next day feeling horrible. You would think you see him in suspenders and shirtless that, maybe this is a fun loving guy. Ray has a very interesting personality. He’s an awesome dude, but he can get it done in the ring. I think he trains with Josh Barnett very frequently with Bloodsport. Ray is no joke.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Clancy commented on working with TNA World Champion Mike Santana earlier this year. Read more about it here.
