Ryan Nemeth discusses the possibility of he and his brother’s tag team splitting up in the near future.
For many family tag teams in the world of professional wrestling, it usually is a career long venture with the likes of The Usos and The Hardys being widely popular examples. For Ryan and Nic Nemeth, their tag team only recently formed after Nic Nemeth’s release from WWE
While speaking to Soundsphere Magazine in a new interview, Ryan Nemeth was asked if the pair were to split up, who would be the one to do the stabbing in the back.
“I like that you used the word if, because this tag team has never broken up. This tag team has, we were kind of resistant to even team up in the first place. I was teaming with Matt Hardy when we first got this thing going, and then suddenly Jeff Hardy’s back, and then suddenly Nic and I are going against ABC. I think we function so well as a unit because we’ve known each other and performed and acted and done comedy for so long together, and we’ve only just recently started to wrestle. So I get this question a lot. When are you breaking up? Who’s going to beat who? Who’s going to beat whatever? We just got started. Give us a chance. You know, we’re the newest and greatest brother tag team of all time. So I’m not thinking about friction or splitting up or who’s better than who.”
Elsewhere in an interview last year, Ryan noted that Leon Slater is ‘the perfect prototype’ for a pro wrestler. You can read more about that here.
