Ryback responds to Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes.
Owens joined Rhodes for the latest episode of the 'What Do You Wanna Talk About' podcast, which ended up airing on Wednesday, June 25.
During the show, Owens and Rhodes talked about some wrestlers overpricing themselves after leaving WWE. Owens mentioned one name in particular, but it was sensored from the podcast.
Hours after the clip went viral, Ryback responded on social media, believing that the two stars were talking about him. Ryback stated that he was booked for three years straight after his departure from WWE and that Pat Buck, his manager at the time, set his booking rate.
Ryback also used his statement to correct Owens, saying that he walked away from the company and was not fired. The former Intercontinental Champion also explained his choice to walk away from wrestling due to injuries.
I was made aware & saw the clip of @FightOwensFight & @CodyRhodes, two guys I always liked & got along with. It’s clear they were referencing me, even with the name censored.

For context: I was booked solid for 3 years straight after WWE. My rate was set by my then-manager Pat…
Ryback's last match occured in 2018, as he defeated Dylan Bostic at a Northeast Wrestling event in August.
