Ryback Reveals When His Contract Is Up, Future Plans

Ryback may very well be a free agent soon, and he has plans for when that happens.

Ryback, who has performed for the WWE on and off since his Tough Enough run in 2004, revealed that his contract with WWE is up on August 8 or October 17, depending on 'certain circumstances.'

The 34-year old has also underwent several surgeries since walking away from WWE programming, including on his nose. Ryback also mentioned on Twitter that he's about a month away before he gets clearance to resume wrestling, jiu jitsu and boxing activities that he's using to prepare for his return.

A fan of the book "The Gift," which he credited in an in-ring promo for changing his life, Ryback also announced plans for a motivational book, saying "Very excited to announce my motivational book Wake Up It's Feeding Time! It will be released before the years end. We are just getting started."

Ryback was sent home from television on May 2 after a contractual dispute with the WWE, something he didn't resist. Ryback then took to Tumblr to express his desire to see equal pay within WWE. This comes after he, and the recently released Cody Rhodes also grew frustrated of creative directions in WWE.
