Ryback Says Jinder Mahal Was His Worst Match Ever

Ryback isn't exactly one to mince words, and certainly didn't as it pertains to a terrible match that he had with current WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

On a recent episode of his podcast, Conversation With The Big Guy, Ryback singled out a developmental match that he had with the "Modern Day Maharajah" as the absolute worst of his life.

The Elite: We're Getting AEW Back To What It Was Supposed To Be

"The worst match of my entire career was with Jinder Mahal. We ended up doing a match on the fly, and it was probably my worst match ever. Just nothing went right and Jinder was super-new to developmental at that time. It was really f-cking funny actually, but it was after NXT and we all were down there. The Nexus thing hadn’t happened yet," said Ryback.

Mahal and Ryback would go on to be "married" on the road during their WWE run, as the two had several television matches, and over a dozen more on live events. Ryback went on to leave WWE shortly before Mahal's 2016 return.
