Sabu was set to be inducted into the Indie Hall of Fame class of 2024, and he was at the venue, but didn't want to go upstairs.
GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale said that Sabu kept the deposit despite no showing. Lauderdale seemed to respect the legend move by Sabu.
