On Sunday Sabu was set to be inducted into the Indie Hall of Fame class of 2024, and he was at the venue, but didn't want to go upstairs according to GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale.

Lauderdale said that Sabu kept the deposit despite no showing, but closed his tweet by saying, "What a legend," indicating he still respected Sabu.

Sabu and Lauderdale both took to social media on Wednesday to offer further comments.

That settles that.
