Sadie Gibbs Calls Signing With AEW "Overwhelming" And "Surreal"

Sadie Gibbs has only made a handful of appearances in All Elite Wrestling, but she remains part of the roster. Gibbs debuted at AEW All Out in the Casino Battle Royale. From there, she's appeared on two episodes of AEW Dark.

Speaking to Alica Atout, Gibbs discussed the moment she signed her AEW contract.

"It almost didn't feel real. It started to settle in when All Out was on. I started to think, 'Wow, this is what I'm going to be apart of.' Then you start going through the self-doubt and all of that. It really set in in August. When I got the email initially, I was like, 'Are you sure?' It was crazy. It was surreal. The moment was. Shortly before, I had lost my granddad and had just come back from Japan. The turnover and how everything was coming into my life, it was a bit overwhelming. I don't think I had time to grieve and then I had something to celebrate. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, but it was good. It was definitely a year of growth," she said.

It is unknown when Gibbs will return to AEW or make her debut on AEW debut.
